I did elementary, middle and high school at Insituto Oxford in Mexico City.
For eleventh grade I went to a boarding school in Victoria, British Columbia with the intention of improving my english.
I did a bachelors in science in applied mathematics at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). One of the perks of the program is the high number of elective courses. I exclusively chose computer science courses as electives.
I was elected four times for the Top GPA award during my time at ITAM, this award is given to a small group of stuents with the best GPA in each major. After finishing the required courses, Mathematics students at ITAM need to write and defend an undergraduate thesis. I defended my thesis entitled “The anatomy of an AI sudoku solving algorithm” and graduated summa cum laude.
